Uber research report reveals why consumers flock to the ridesharing program and why it’s here to stay
With 54% of potential consumers already using Uber in major markets and the general population expecting to use it more, Uber has already won the battle against the traditional dispatched-taxi model and irrevocably broken the status quo.
This report is believed to be the first study that predicts Uber share now and in the future based on consumer insights. We found that everyone was discussing drivers and governments but nobody asked the customer what they thought. We often do customer research for our own clients to help them figure out what their customers need and how to use that to better serve them. We decided to create this survey as we felt it added an important aspect to the Uber and taxi debate.
