SATOV welcomes new analysts: Hayden Carver and Jake Erdman
Hayden Carver
Hayden Carver earned his BBA with a specialization in finance at Wilfrid Laurier University. He was co-president of the Lazaridis Students’ Society from 2019-2020, overlapping for a period with SATOV Analyst, Adam Wallimohamed, as co-president.
While leading the Lazaridis Students ‘ Society, Hayden helped oversee 23 different clubs and associations within the business school. Critical roles in this position included providing governance for the different groups and managing budgets.
In addition to working with fellow students, Hayden enjoyed working with faculty to set broader direction for the school. Beyond business and finance, Hayden studied international policy and had a minor in economics.
On starting at SATOV, Hayden said that he knows his way around Microsoft Excel, but has a strong feeling that he is going to sharpen these skills significantly and really be able to apply super math to solving client challenges.
Jake Erdman
Jake Erdman comes to us with dual degree: an HBA from Ivey Business School and a BA in urban development from the University of Western Ontario. Through his studies, Jake gained a deep understanding of how different levels of government and business tackle the financial feasibility of important infrastructure projects above ground and below the sea! During this past summer, Jake traveled through Europe and spent time with family.
On starting at SATOV, Jake is looking forward to learning deeply about different industries, working with clients and learning as much as he can from his colleagues. He is also keen on sharpening his technical skills that will help him and others down the road whether that road continues in consulting or in other ventures.
