Andy brings decades of deep experience in financial services, especially retail banking and lending, as a consultant, operating executive, and entrepreneur. Prior to joining SATOV, he was a Managing Director of Novantas, the VP Channel Management for Presidents Choice Financial at CIBC and the CEO of NewCan Financial.
Dave McFarland
Senior Advisor, Building Products and Services
Dave brings three decades of experience delivering large-scale real estate projects across Canada. Prior to joining SATOV, he was Vice President of Design and Construction at Oxford Properties Group and Director of Facilities Management and Construction at Rogers Communications.
Hayden Carver
Consultant
Since joining SATOV in 2022, Hayden has built expertise in the home services sector, having helped clients in all aspects of their businesses from strategic planning to organizational design to implementation. Hayden earned his BBA degree with a specialization in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Karen Huang
Senior Analyst, Consumer Insights
Karen joined our Consumer Insights team in 2025. She manages research engagements and business development initiatives for the Insights practice. She brings experience from KPMG Australia where she focused on helping clients with customer experience, brand strategy and digital implementation. Karen holds a BCom and Bachelor of Advanced Studies from The University of Sydney.
Roan Beattie
Analyst
Roan's project experience includes commercial diligence and strategic planning, primarily for clients in the home products and services sector. Roan holds an HBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
Michael Zhang
Analyst
Michael joined SATOV in 2024. His project experience to date has focused on helping clients in consumer goods and services across a range of initiatives. Michael earned his HBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
Evan Gilbert
Analyst
Evan joined SATOV in 2025. Prior to that, he started and ran a small business selling limited edition sneakers. He holds a BComm from Smith School of Business at Queen's University.
Tanner Spadafora
Analyst
Tanner joined SATOV in 2025. Since joining SATOV, he has primarily worked on commercial due diligence projects. Previously, he worked for a search fund as an analyst. Tanner holds HBA degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University.

Financial Controller
Natalia is a Financial Controller (CPA CMA) with more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance. At SATOV Natalia supports all finance and accounting functions.

Ruthie Poizner
Analyst, Consumer Insights
Ruthie joined SATOV in 2026. She graduated with an MA in Psychology from the Centre for Studies in Behavioral Neurobiology at Concordia University. Her research focused on learning, decision making, and risk perception.

Claire is currently completing her HBA at Ivey Business School, Western University. Before joining SATOV as an intern in 2026, she worked at start-ups and in venture capital.
