Raphaël Bacal joins SATOV as Principal at our Montreal office with close to 15 years of experience across corporate law and strategy consulting to help clients navigate complex transactions and transformations.
Raphaël pairs a lawyer’s discipline for risk with a builder’s bias for action – he gets to the answer fast, then pressure-tests it until it holds up in the room.
He began his career as a corporate lawyer at Lavery de Billy, advising on more than 30 M&A transactions and corporate restructurings, before spending time inside Amazon’s PC Hardware business in Paris running vendor negotiations and pricing strategy across a major product category. He’s since built his consulting career at leading international firms, where his work has spanned commercial due diligence for PE firms and strategic acquirers, business plan and go-to-market strategy development, value creation plans and large-scale operational transformations for clients across renewable energy, industrials, and transportation.
Raphaël holds a Bachelor of Civil Law / Bachelor of Laws from McGill University and an MBA from INSEAD.
