David Saffer

David brings three decades of experience advising retailers and consumer goods companies. He leads SATOV’s consumer insight practice, where his creativity, big-picture thinking, and relentless drive for data integrity underpin every engagement.

Clients know that David will get the sample, stress-test the data, and translate findings into actionable insights. He always finds a way.

Before joining SATOV, David co-founded Jackman Reinvents, where he built the management consulting and research practices and helped grow the firm from start-up to global success. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Groupe SECOR’s Toronto office (now KPMG Strategy), and held senior roles at Hill + Knowlton Strategies (DECIMA) and Saffer Advertising.

David received his B.Sc. from the University of Toronto (Trinity College) and has served on the Board of Directors of Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival and the National Ballet of Canada. Based in Halifax, he brings both rigor and energy to his work, a combination that has made him a trusted partner for clients seeking fresh ideas and strategic decision support.
